"...and her name was Sorcha..." I could hear my brother's voice repeating the story to me as he had done so many nights before. It was always hard for me to fall asleep. Nightmares crowded my every thought as I lay in slumber, waking with sweat upon my brow and fright in my eyes. I could see this woman my brother told of so vividly. I could see her mane of wild hair, the color of freshly fallen snow and her skin, soft and pale... as if she were the Moon herself. Her eyes were the stars and her delicate chin, so royal in the way she held it. I can picture her blue gown and glowing crown against the backdrop of her beloved forest. She belonged to the Fair Folk. She belonged to the forest.
